- 2022 F/W Fashion Trends
I’m usually sad when summer comes to an end and the weather gets colder, but I’m honestly here for the colder weather and this year’s fall/winter fashion trends.
Mini Skirts + Boots
This is likely my favorite trend this fall – since I live in California it’s doable to wear skirts with knee high boots in the fall and not completely freeze. For colder climates, this trend still works when layering sheer tights or fleece lined skin-color leggings underneath.
Skinny Scarves
I’m personally still on the hunt for a cute skinny scarf for myself, but I’ve been loving this trend for fall. I’ve also loved the trend of using skinny ties as an alternative for skinny scarves – it looks so chic and dresses up an outfit so nicely.
Babydoll Sweaters
Specifically I’ve been seeing a resurgence of vintage Hollister and Abercrombie babydoll sweaters this fall. I’m honestly obsessed with this trend because I was such a fan of this look even in middle school/high school when this style was being released by the brands, though back then I don’t think I was quite old enough to pull off the look. It’s such a cute, feminine top to dress up a fall outfit.
Moto Leather Jackets
This is an obvious one, but motorcycle jackets have been such a big trend this fall. I’ve been loving the look of oversized jackets over more fitted outfits or over even over a more feminine outfit with a skirt. While wearing something more oversized/masculine over a more fitted/feminine outfit does sound like it would clash, I feel like it brings together such a cute look that works so well for colder months.
